20/20 Impact Accelerator

Purpose and Outcomes

Accelerate impact, growth/scale, market share, customer satisfaction and profit

When you have aspirations to grow and are committed to accelerating the impact of your venture you’ve come to the right place.  To accelerate achieving your organization’s aspirations participants will examine and contribute to each other’s value propositions.  This 4-week series is a facilitated business-to-business peer group consultation.  Participants will provide guidance, insight and feedback so participating enterprise will:

  • Articulate the value their venture brings to customers
  • Leverage the experience and skills of work teams
  • Avoid wasting time with ideas that don’t work
  • Identify and zero in on customer needs
  • Design, test and deliver what your customers want
  • Celebrate success
  • Understand the competition and clarify your market share
  • Grow impact
  • Gain profit

The sessions will run for two hours a week for 4 weeks.

Each participating business will create a:

  1. Value Map
    1. Products and services
    1. How your products alleviate customer pains
    1. How your products and services create customer gains
  2. Customer Profile
    1. Gains: Outcomes customers want to achieve
    1. Pains: that customers identify as bad outcomes, risks, obstacles
    1. Jobs: what customers are trying to get done (in their own words)
  3. Environmental scan of the competition
    1. Who are the players?
    1. What are their strengths?
    1. What are their weaknesses?
    1. What are the opportunities?
    1. Threats?
  4. Value Proposition
    1. Determine “Fit”
    1. Design and Test
  5. Strategic goals and annual strategies
    1. Staffing
    1. Work environment
    1. Financial goals
    1. Resources

Value:  Most small ventures invest $30,000 – $60,000 for a consultant to assist in the design of their Value Proposition.  The 20/20 Impact Accelerator costs just $200 a week for 4 weeks ($800 investment) plus a $50 fee to cover the cost of room rental, printing of handouts, and libations/snacks.  Ideal size is 8-12 participants.  This is a bargain with the added benefit of having gained the input and guidance of other small venture leaders.
